he Honourable Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission, Ondo State Office, Hon. Adeyemi Oni has pledged to utilize more ADR mechanisms to resolve more conflicts in the country.
Hon. Adeyemi Oni made the pledge when he paid a courtesy call on the Chief Judge, Ondo State High Court, Justice William Akintoroye in his office.
The Hon. Commissioner who said he was in the office to exchange ideas and seek collaboration in areas of mutual interest appreciated the Chief Judge for the opportunity given to the Commission to participate in its ADR trainings.
He assured the Chief Judge that the Commission would take advantage of the opportunity to it to ensure social justice in the State.
In his remarks, Justice William Akintoroye commended the Commission for effective use of ADR mechanisms to resolve conflicts in the State.
He stressed the importance of ADR in conflict resolution and urged even the courts to utilize such skills to fast track resolution of disputes.
The Chief Judge who disclosed that the court is partnering with an International Agency to train the staff of the court on the use of ADR mechanisms promised to involve the Commission in subsequent trainings.
