It was a day filled with joy and celebration as the Public Complaints Commission on the 26th of September honored Mrs. Abiola Oluwatoyin Janet, the outgoing Director of Investigation(Public). The Commission’s headquarters in Abuja played host to a colorful event attended by esteemed dignitaries and colleagues.
In his address, the Honorable Chief Commissioner, Hon. Abimbola Ayo-Yusuf whose delight was evident, lauded Mrs. Abiola Oluwatoyin Janet for her exceptional diligence and humility. He remarked that her dedication to her role had been evident within the short period she had served as Director of Investigation(Public).
The Honourable Chief Commissioner also extended his heartfelt prayers for her future endeavors, acknowledging her as a true asset to the Commission.
Speaking on behalf of the staff, the Secretary to the Commission Hajiya Salamatu Mamman highlighted Mrs. Abiola’s calm and meek demeanor, emphasizing her respectful behavior towards colleagues. Her commitment to ensuring the well-being of her coworkers which was a demonstration of her leadership qualities was especially commended.
The celebration was graced by other prominent figures including the Federal Commissioners of Oyo and Ekiti and all the Directors of the Commission at the headquarters. Their attendance underscored the significance of the occasion.
The highlight of the event was the moment when the Director of Administration proposed a toast in honor of the celebrant which was followed by the cutting of a cake as well as group photographs.
Mrs. Abiola Oluwatoyin Janet’s contributions and exemplary character have undoubtedly left an indelible mark on the Public Complaints Commission. To all her colleagues and superiors she will ever remain an inspiration.
