ANAMBRA PCC TAKES CAMPAIGN TO THE MARKETS

The Sensitization and Awareness Unit of the Anambra State office of Public Complaints Commission had her maiden sensitization exercise in Eke Awka market, today, 28th October,2022.

The Unit engaged so many traders to enlighten them about the mandate of the Commission and areas they could benefit from the free services rendered by the Commission.

The team led by the Unit head, Mr Ifeanyi Emeaghalu canvassed the traders while Mrs Nnadi Chinwe an Investigation Officer, gave a keynote speech to the traders and market leadership on the need to always seek for justice with the Commission instead of taking laws into their hands.

A structured questionnaires were administered to the traders to proactively generate complaints.

The chairman of the market, Ozo Emeka Agumadu admitted that a large number of the traders are unaware of the existence of the Commission before now and thanked the Federal Commissioner, Anambra State office for the initiative of coming down to the market to educate the traders on their rights to always seek for justice instead of taking the laws into their hands .

He opined that before now they had a myriad of complaints but thankfully they now know where to seek justice .

The Unit through the speaker thanked the leaders of the market for the great opportunity to educate the traders and promised to always serve them the justice they deserve.
