PCC ANNOUNCES NEW DATE FOR NATIONAL ANTI-CORRUPTION MARATHON RACE

The date for the 4th edition of the National Anti-Corruption Marathon race that was earlier scheduled to take place on 1st 0ctober, 2022 has been rescheduled to 15th October,2022.

The Honourable Chief Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission(PCC), Hon. Abimbola Ayo-Yusuf who is the Chief Host of this year’s event announced this in a follow-up press briefing on Wednesday at the Commission’s Headquarters.

The Honorable Chief Commissioner who was ably represented by the Secretary to the Commission, Mr. Philip Enyali disclosed that the change has become necessary to make the Marathon part of series of events that have been planned for the celebration of the Commission’s 47th anniversary on 16th October, 2022.

He asserted that the Commission is readily taking measures for more collaboration with notable partners to make this year’s Marathon Race a great success.

Also speaking at the briefing, the National Coordinator of the Marathon Race, Mr. Jacob Onu emphasised on the need for all the stakeholders to continue working with the Commission towards achieving a memorable sporting event.

He further maintained that the venue for the event remains at the Eagle Square Stadium, Abuja at 8:00am.
