PCC Chief Commissioner promises better Welfare for Staff

The Hon. Chief Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission, Hon. Abimbola Ayo Yusuf has promised to pay more focus on Staff welfare and Productivity.
He stated this at his inaugural meeting with Staff of the Commission in Abuja.

Hon. Yusuf while addressing the staff promised to address challenges faced by Staff .

The Chief Commissioner also said that, he will begin a car loan program for staff starting from next year and promised to make the Commission more visible during his tenure in Office.

He however urged the Staff to be patient with him as more efforts are in the pipeline to improve the condition of the Commission from January,2022 .

Other pledges made by the Chief Commissioner include commencing of cat loans for staff and the establishment of the Ombudsman Institute among others.

The meeting which was streamed live via zoom elicited diverse reactions from representatives of the different unions and Staff from the State offices of the Commission.

In her vote of thanks, the secretary to the Commission, Ms Modupe Kolawole (FICA) advised the different Unions to be United and speak with one voice for the betterment of the Commission.

She disclosed that plans are in top gear to improve the salaries of staff and urged them to be more committed, loyal and dedicated to the Commission to enable it take its rightful place in the society.
