PCC NIGER STATE OFFICE SEEKS SYNERGY WITH THE NIGERIA POLICE

Commission Niger State office, Barr. Bala Mohammed Marika, has sought to establish a close synergy between the Commission and the Nigeria Police Force in a bid to bring the perpetrators of social and administrative injustice to book.

He made this known recently when he and his management team paid the Niger State Command’s Commissioner of Police, C.P Ogundele Ayodeji, a courtesy call at the Force Headquarters in Minna, Niger State.

Speaking during the visit, Barr. Bala stated that the PCC entertains, investigates and resolves complaints free of charge while urging the police to collaborate with the Commission’s quest for speedy resolution of cases.

He hinted that the Honourable Chief Commissioner had earlier visited the Inspector General of Police to seek unflinching support of the force in carrying out its mandate especially as it concerns the newly established Enforcement Unit in the Commission.

Barr. Bala further solicited the consent of the Police Commissioner to give the Commission opportunity to make presentations whenever the State Police command organises seminars or conferences.

In his response, C.P Ogundele welcomed the Honourable Commissioner and his entourage and assured them of his readiness to release his men whenever the Commission needs them for the enforcement of its mandate. This courtesy visit was concluded with the presentation of the Commission’s handbooks, literatures and badge to the Commissioner of Police.
