PCC SEEKS LAWMA’S COLLABORATION TO FIGHT SOCIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE INJUSTICE

The Honourable Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission, Lagos State, Hon. Hafeez Adekunle Odunewu paid a working and familiarisation visit to the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), yesterday, August 24, 2022.

The LAWMA Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Mr Ibrahim Odumboni welcomed the Honourable Commissioner and his team to the authority and intimated the PCC team on some of its activities, the success recorded and the challenges it is fighting to ensure the waste from the state is well managed.

Unveiling the intent behind the visit while giving a brief on the activities of the Commission as Ombudsman, Hon. Hafeez Adekunle Odunewu said the visit was targeted at lauding the efforts of the waste managers and collaborating with it to fight administrative and social injustice.

Responding, the LAWMA MD/CEO, Mr Ibrahim Odumboni reiterated the waste authority’s willingness to join the commission in achieving a society free of social and administrative injustice.

Mr Odumboni clarified questions from the PCC team and took the team on a tour around the facilities in the agency.
