The Ebonyi State office of the Public Complaints Commission has recovered the sum of Eight Hundred and Sixty Nine Thousand Naira (#869,000) for a Complainant, Mrs Nwunwa Mary. The said amount was recovered from the Respondent who had a business deal with her but failed to pay and through the Commission.

Similarly, the Commission also assisted a Complainant, Mrs Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Chinyere to recover a brand new refrigerator. The Complainant earlier approached the Commission alleging that she bought a brand new fridge from a Respondent (dealer) with three years warranty but the fridge did not reach up to one year and got spoiled. The Complainant took it back to the Respondent for repair and the fridge got missing while with the Respondent.
The Complainant having exhausted all means of recovering the fridge decided to lodge the Complaint in the Commission and after thorough investigation, the Commission was able to recover a brand new fridge for her.
