PCC FC POISED TO QUALIFYING TO THE PLAYOFFS OF THE NATIONAL LEAGUE

The Public Complaints Commission Football Club ( PCC FC) is looking good to qualifying to the playoffs to the Nigeria National League (NNL).

The Nigeria National League is the next stage of competition after the Nation Wide League which is a second tier of the Nigeria Professional League that the PCC FC is participating in.

In the matches played so far at both the Area 3 stadium and at the Area 10 old parade ground in Abuja, the PCC FC won the table toppers, Capital City FC, 1- 0, lost 2-4 to the Supreme Court FC and drew 4-4 with Wood Peckers FC.

There are 5 more matches to be played which according to the captain of the team, Chidi David, they only need to win one more game to avoid relegation while they chase the playoffs to qualify for the Nigeria National League next year.

Captain Chidi assured the Honorable Chief Commissioner and the Commission of the determination of the team to succeed.

It may be of interest to note that for the past 6 seasons, every new team has always been relegated but the PCC FC is determined to break that jinx this season.

It may be recalled that on the 4th April, 2022, the Honourable Chief Commissioner, Hon Abimbola Ayo- Yusuf inaugurated the PCC FC at the Commission’s Head Quarters in Abuja with all the necessary support and logistics to among other things boost the positive image of the Commission while operating as a full fledge football team under the Commission.
