THE NIGERIAN CHIEF OMBUDSMAN REITERATE HIS COMMITMENT TO IMPROVE STAFF WELFARE

The Honourable Chief Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission, Honourable Abimbola Ayo-Yusuf has expressed his concern for the welfare of staff of the Commission.

The Chief Commissioner made this known during his visit to the Lagos office of the Commission, today, November 28, 2022.

According to him, the wellbeing of the staff is important for the Commission to deliver its mandate of receiving, investigating and resolving complaints.

He emphasised that he would ensure the newly approved salary structure, CONLESS is implemented and takes effect from January 2023. He also added that loan scheme for staff would be established to assist them.

The Chief Ombudsman further applauded the Honourable Commissioner and the staff of PCC Lagos Office for handling cases effectively and efficiently which he said is a satisfactory representation of the Commission.
